Collection between realism and reverie
Garance Vallée was born in Paris in 1993. Introduced to art by her mother and her father, the painter Kriki, she studied architecture at the Ensa de Paris la Villette. A versatile artist, she soon began exploring other worlds: drawing, painting, sculpture, scenography, and object design. Her encounter with Italian architect Ada Tolla in New York was decisive, encouraging the artist to assert her own aesthetic vocabulary, regardless of the medium. A fan of blending styles and eras, Garance Vallée draws inspiration from both antiquity and modernism to create works with blurred contours, transforming angles, playing with perspectives, and blurring the lines between realism and reverie.
Born from an experimental and spontaneous approach, his collaboration with By Charlot is an exploration of shapes, textures and materials highlighted by a mineral palette of ochre, earth, beige and off-white tones.
